Erik Foley, director of sustainability at the Penn State Smeal College of Business, has been re-elected treasurer of the International Society of Sustainability Professionals (ISSP) by the group’s board of directors.

The Penn State Smeal College of Business has long been committed to sustainability in the classroom, in its curriculum, and in its day-to-day operations. That commitment has resulted in an invitation to the United Nations. Erik Foley, the college’s director of sustainability, will join other representatives from business, government, civil society, and academia at the UN Global Compact Leaders Summit from Wednesday through Friday in New York City.

Salomon Sredni, the retired president and chief executive officer of TradeStation Group, Inc., delivered the 2016 Penn State Smeal College of Business commencement address on Sunday. Sredni is a 1987 Smeal accounting graduate and member of the college’s Board of Visitors.
