Penn State Among Top Producers of S&P 500 CEOs
With five Smeal College of Business graduates and seven total Penn State alumni leading S&P 500 companies, Penn State is among the top producers in the nation of current S&P 500 CEOs, according to a list recently compiled by Bloomberg.
Penn State Names Steve and Nancy Sheetz Philanthropists of the Year
Penn State has named Altoona residents Stephen G. and Nancy L. Sheetz its 2010 Philanthropists of the Year in recognition of their exceptional commitment to the University as donors and volunteers.
Fong Named Marketing Chair
The Penn State Smeal College of Business has named Duncan Fong, professor of marketing, chair of the college's Department of Marketing effective July 1. Fong replaces William Ross, who has served has the Marketing chair since January.
First Issue of IRES Newsletter Available Online
The Institute for Real Estate Studies at the Penn State Smeal College of Business has began publishing a biannual newsletter for its members and interested Smeal alumni. The first edition of the newsletter is available online here.
