QMM Program Seeks Part-Time Instructors

Penn State's Quality and Manufacturing Management (QMM) Program, which is administered jointly by the Smeal College of Business and the College of Engineering, is seeking individuals for part-time teaching positions for the fall 2009 and semester and beyond.

UNIVERSITY PARK, PA (July 6, 2009) – Penn State's Quality and Manufacturing Management (QMM) Program, which is administered jointly by the Smeal College of Business and the College of Engineering, is seeking individuals for part-time teaching positions for the fall 2009 and semester and beyond. Penn State's Quality and Manufacturing Management (QMM) Program seeks individuals for part-time teaching positions for Fall 2009 and future semesters. Applicants should be interested in co-teaching an engineering/business course in new product development and/or teaching introduction to engineering. Applicants should be familiar with engineering design, computer-aided engineering, materials and manufacturing processes, plant layout, quality methods, and risk analysis. An undergraduate degree in engineering, a master's degree, and manufacturing experience are required.
