Advanced Manufacturing Forum Focuses On Journey To Lean
Managers from ArvinMeritor, Kennametal, Rockwell Automation, and United Defense will lead interactive presentations on technological and organizational innovation as part of the 57th Advanced Manufacturing Forum from April 14-15 at the Penn Stater Conference Hotel.
UNIVERSITY PARK, PA (March 24, 2005)—Managers from ArvinMeritor, Kennametal, Rockwell Automation, and United Defense will lead interactive presentations on technological and organizational innovation as part of the 57th Advanced Manufacturing Forum from April 14-15 at the Penn Stater Conference Hotel.
Hosted by the Center for the Management of Technological and Organizational Change at Penn State’s Smeal College of Business, the theme of the forum is “The Journey to Lean: From Base Camp to the Summit.” The event is designed to provide attendees with information and insights on lean manufacturing, the process of continuous improvement by means of eliminating waste and enhancing value-added activities.
