Poster conference gives undergraduate researchers unique opportunity

February 3, 2016

Smeal College of Business undergraduates could earn a unique opportunity to showcase their research projects to an audience of Pennsylvania legislators.

The 14th Annual Undergraduate Research at the Capitol — Pennsylvania Poster Conference will take place April 5 in the State Capitol Building in Harrisburg. All fields of research are encouraged to enter.

Participants spend the day in the Pennsylvania Capitol, share experiences and ideas with counterparts from other schools, and present research posters. When possible, a visit to either the Senate or House chamber is part of the day’s events.

The Penn State Office of Undergraduate Education will coordinate the university’s participation in the event. Penn State is invited to send eight posters.

Names of interested students need to be submitted by Feb. 10.

Details about Undergraduate Research at the Capitol are available online.
